Runners and hikers alike take to the trails in the summertime, so Nike has readied its Air Zoom Terra Kiger 6 in a new “Medium Olive” makeup. Boasting speed-focused Nike Running sensibilities and a rugged Nike ACG-esque build, the Terra Kiger is an apt choice for off-road excursions.
The sleek, streamlined upper is split between layered mesh in the forefoot and a synthetic material in the heel. Both of these pieces boast water-repellant capabilities, and are joined by taped seams on the lateral and medial sides. Branding is handled by black Swooshes and black mountain graphics, with more specialized flair arriving on the tongue via Terra Kiger-specific embellishments.
Although most of the shoe is coated in military-style tones, there are some pops of vibrance to be had as well. Under the aforementioned mesh forefoot sits a peach-hued base, and the ridged, fused mudguard/toe cap is done up in a soft blue. Heel tabs aid with entry and removal, while cushioning is handled by a Zoom Air unit ensconced in the midsole’s heel next to black text hits. Finally, sticky rubber outsoles with toothed orange and white tread supply grip on even the wettest and most rocky trails.
These “Medium Olive” Terra Kiger 6s are available now via the Nike US and Nike Hong Kong webstores. The MSRP is set at $130 USD.
